How much is it to have my gutters cleared?

Accepted Answer

We have a minimum charge of £100 to clear your gutters and this will cover up to 15metres of gutter. Over 15 metres it is £5/metre.
If you have a have a 3 story property it is £7/metre after the first 15metres

Do I need to be in?

Accepted Answer

No. As long as we have access to mains power, either a an outdoor socket, access to a socket in a garage or outbuilding or an extension lead left out through a window.

When we have finished we will leave a slip with our online payment details on.

Do you only cover Domestic properties or do you do Commercial properties as well?

We cover both domestic and commercial properties.

How often do gutters need to be cleared?

Accepted Answer

This vey much depends on the property but as a rule it should be once a year. This should be carried out in the autumn when the leaves have finished falling.

There are occasions when this will need doing more often. If there is a lot of over hanging trees or the roof is heavily covered in moss.  If the gutters are constantly filling with moss you may need to get the roof cleaned.

How do you clear the gutters?

Accepted Answer

We use the latest in gutter cleaning equipment. This consists of industrial vacuums that are able to lift a considerable weight. We also use carbon fibre tubes so that we are able to clear the gutter from the ground making the job safer and less likely to cause any damage to your property.

Question 7

If you are cleaning the gutters from ground level how do you know that thy are clear?

Accepted Answer

We use small video cameras either on an extending pole or at the top of the gutter vacuum poles.  These video cameras can also be used to survey roofs, chimneys and other places hard to get to.
